Nicholas Sadler

Founder     AWD Creative Consultation

Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit about me.

I've had the great good fortune of appearing in award-winning films such as True Grit, Scent of A Woman, Disclosure, The Last Supper, and Mobsters. I recently completed working with Barry Levinson and Al Pacino on HBO's film PaternoI'm an invited participant of The Sundance Institute Filmmaker’s Lab and a graduate of The Juilliard School.

I've been a private acting coach, workshop teacher, and directing, filmmaker, and executive communications consultant for the past 10 years.  My clients and students are working in film, television, and theater, using the tools we've developed to continue to challenge themselves to grow and to realize their creative potential.  I take a practical, "real world" approach to tackling the unique problems each project faces.

My corporate clients achieve measurable growth and results in developing and refining their communication skills, staying true to their nature while delivering their message in a concise and influential manner.

As an educator, working with high school and college students, I've conducted workshops on understanding and performing Shakespeare, storytelling, public speaking, scene studies, and introductions to filmmaking.

I'm currently in post-production on Times Like These — a feature-length documentary film that chronicles the inspiring journey and harrowing struggles of a family whose father is diagnosed with Male Breast Cancer and Metastatic Breast Cancer.

Past projects include being Creative Consultant of Emmy-Award-winner Ray Romano’s documentary film 95 Miles To Go, directed by Emmy-Award-winner Tom Caltobiano.

I'm in pre-production with Todd Field (Academy-Award-nominated Writer/Director/Producer of In The Bedroom and Little Children) on amateur fools, an original screenplay that I wrote and am directing. In addition to a number of film and television projects currently in development, I'm producing with Arcady Bay (Bridge To Terabithia, The Great Gilly Hopkins) an adaptation of National Book and Caldecott-Award-winning author Katherine Paterson's The Same Stuff As Stars.
